Our projects

Ethiopia's population is expanding rapidly and in Azezo a large proportion is under 15 years of age, resulting in enormous class sizes with students having to sit two or even three to a desk. We work extensively with two local schools, funding projects to improve their facilities and the educational environment.

We are immensely proud to support the Daughters of Saint Anna in their work with blind children at St Raphel's. Those born with a disability in Ethiopia are often at the greatest disadvantage and yet these children have conquered their blindness through their intelligence, wit and love for life.

In the past, we have also worked with the local council to benefit the entire Azezo community, opening, in 2011, the district's first public library.
